Robert Argill bn. Hinckley 1706 adopted the spelling of Arguile and was the founder of the Barwell Arguiles. I am a descendant now living in Australia but born in Glenfield and living in Leicestershire until 1963. I have a wide range of information including Argyles from Derbyshire, I suspect we share a common ancestry via Thomas Argyle and his wife Elizabeth Swift of Duffield, Derbs.
