The main interests are: BONSER, BOTT, ELLIS & TILLY (TILLEY, TYLEY, TILLIE etc.)

We can do 1881 Census lookups on CD and all other census lookups at Hinckley Library, time allowing.

We can also gather information at any local cemetery, especially Barwell as its quite small.

Jeff & Michele live in Hinckley, but Jeff was born and bred in Barwell. We have been researching my mother's side of the family most, the BONSOR's and have traced them back to about 1750. The BOTT's have been a bit of a problem as grand father came from Arnold in Nottingham and settled in Barwell, but we don't know when. The ELLIS's we have traced back to 1826.
During the research we have found a link to Amanda & Michael Lord, and been able to correspond with them. We also found a family link with Louise Robinson through a young lady in the past called Hannah Green, which Louise has confirmed.
